Due Diligence Gothard
By order of Services Industriels de Genève (SIG) New Energy Scout carried out a Due Diligence for a wind farm planned at the Gotthard pass in Switzerland. Five turbines with an installed capacity of 17 MW have been planned on this challenging site at 2’100m/ sea. The projecting and planning of the windfarm started in 2000 and had been several times reworked. The specific characteristics of the location is the alpine climatic conditions, project size and reduced access on winter as well as the challenging requirements of the location regarding planning field. New Energy Scout checked the documentation and the feasability, and furthermore carried out cost estimates, incl. Uncertainties and financial reductions as well as cash-flow analysis and economic sensitivity.
